Mixed for much of Europe, rain for many
Today
Low pressure over the British Isles is going to be bringing some unsettled conditions here through the course of the day. Rainfall and cloud will be extending through much of northern and western France, reaching northern Spain and the north of Portugal too. Over eastern and southern Spain, as well as southern Portugal conditions should be drier with sunny spells here.
For the Balearics and much of the central Mediterranean, extending into central and southern Italy the weather will be unsettled again with showers or longer periods of rain. The former Yugoslavia could see some showers too, whilst Greece is going to be mainly dry with sunny spells. A few showers for Turkey, most of them through the south.
Over Bulgaria and Romania the weather will be staying dry with some sunny spells.
Into Germany and the Low Countries and well as Denmark there will be showers, a few of them heavy. It is going to be remaining dry in Denmark until the afternoon.
Through the Baltic States and Poland the weather will be remaining dry with more spells of sunshine here. This sunshine extends through Finland and Sweden. Norway should be mainly dry as well, although there will be some showers to the north.

A complex area of low pressure extends through much of central Europe. This is going to be bringing periods of cloud and rain across the south of the UK and into the Low Countries, western Germany and France. The showers could be heavy over France, where it is going to be feeling much cooler.
The unsettled weather extending through Switzerland and into Italy. Over southern Italy low pressure will be bringing showers and periods of rain, some of them heavy. More showers and rain through the former Yugoslavia.
Thicker cloud through northern parts of Iberia bringing some periods of rain. For most of Spin and Portugal the day should be dry with good spells of sunshine.
Over Greece and Turkey there could be a few showers, but some sunny periods in between too.
For Bulgaria and Romania the day is going to be dry with sunny spells. More dry conditions through Poland, Belarus, the Ukraine and eastern Germany.
For the Baltic States as well as Denmark, southern Sweden and the far south of Norway should be dry with sunny spells. However, elsewhere through Sweden and Norway the weather will be cloudier with showers or rain.
