Temperatures below normal but hot in the Mediterranean
Today
Unseasonably cool across central and northern parts of Europe today. While it looks drier and sunnier across Great Britain today, further showers will affect The Low Countries, Denmark and Germany, some locally heavy but will be interspersed with sunny spells. Showers across the Alpine Region may fall as snow over the highest elevation. Persistent rain across France will clear to heavy afternoon showers.
Some showers to come across Poland today with the Baltic States fair and dry. Continued unsettled with sporadic outbreaks of rain to come across much of Scandinavia. An area of showery rain will move across Rumania into the former Czech Republic and Bulgaria. For Iberia, Italy across into the Balkans it will be another sunny and very warm day.
Wednesday
The cool weather across central and northern parts of Europe will continue today. For England it's a dry, mostly sunny day to come. For France expect some sunshine too but with a few showers in the east. Cloudy and wet across Germany and Denmark with spells of rain, heavy at times. Showers will develop quite widely across Poland and the Baltic States. With low pressure areas over Scandinavia and area of rain across Norway spreads east into Sweden and Finland.
Apart from the odd afternoon shower across inland parts of Italy it will be staying sunny and very warm across Spain, The Balearics into Greece and Turkey. Some heavy, thundery showers will develop across Serbia, Croatia and Rumania.
