Heavy, thundery showers but fair in the central Mediterranean

Today
Thundery showers will be affecting much of Portugal and mainland Spain through the course of Tuesday. However, for the Balearics and the far northeast of Spain it should stay fair with sunny spells. Most of France should have a drier day, although there is a chance of a shower through central areas. Italy should be enjoying some fair weather too, with more sunshine here.
Into the Low Countries and Germany, as well as Switzerland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Bratislava will be unsettled with some heavy and thundery showers breaking out here. Into the former Yugoslavia and Greece there will be further heavy showers or longer periods of rain. The showers affect the west of Turkey as well, although the east and Cyprus should be dry.
Northwards and Romania will be damp with heavy showers. Bulgaria is going to be drier with sunny spells, whilst the Ukraine and Belarus should be drier with sunny spells, similar weather through Belarus and Poland.
Showers over the Baltic States, and more persistent rain for the far south of Finland. Central and northern areas of Finland should be dry with plenty of sunshine. Over Norway there will be some heavy showers in the west, but Denmark should be drier with sunny spells.

Wednesday
Heavier showers across Portugal during today with more thunderstorms. Western parts of Spain will be having showers as well, and again these could be heavy. Eastern and southern parts of Spain will be drier with sunny spells, and the sunshine extends into the Balearics as well. Apart from an occasional showers over the far south there will be lots of sunshine for most of France.
The Low Countries look like having a dry day with sunny spells, and the sunshine and dry weather affecting much of Germany as well. Showers over Switzerland with scattered showers and sunny spells for Italy.
Heavy showers in the former Yugoslavia, these extending into Greece, although the Islands remaining largely dry. Further showers in Crete and western Turkey, but eastern areas should be drier with sunny spells, dry too in Cyprus.
Heavy showers for Bulgaria, but Romania should stay mainly dry in sunny spells. The Ukraine will be dry, whilst Belarus could have some showers. mainly dry through the Baltic States with sunshine here, whilst Finland stays mainly dry too. For Sweden there will be sunny spells, with showers affecting the west of Norway. Denmark should be dry with sunny spells here.
