<b>More heat in southeast Europe, unsettled through central areas</b> <br><br> <b>Today</b><br> Fine weather to come across Portugal and Spain today, lots of sunshine and dry conditions throughout. There will be further showers, some of them heavy for much of central Europe. France will have some heavy showers, most in the north and west, although southern coasts should be drier with sunny spells. The Low Countries will have heavy showers and thunderstorms, these spreading into Germany, where it is also going to be windy. Scattered heavy showers for Switzerland, Austria and Hungary, with a band of rain spreading eastwards across Poland. <br>Italy should be dry with good spells of sunshine, whilst a few showers will be affecting the north of the former Yugoslavia. For Greece and Turkey as well as Crete and Cyprus the heatwave is going to be continuing, with more sunshine to come as well. Bulgaria and Romania remain hot. <br>Showers in the west of the Ukraine and Belarus, with some showers in the western Baltic States. Finland should be dry with sunny spells, whilst rain and showers affect the south of Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The north of Sweden and Norway should be dry with sunny spells.

<b>Thursday</b><br> Another fair day to come across Portugal and Spain. Lots of sunshine here with very warm conditions too. The sunshine and dry weather extends through the whole of the southern half of France, whilst to the north there will be some cloud and outbreaks of rain and stronger winds. The Low Countries will have an early shower, before it becomes drier and sunnier in the afternoon. Heavy showers across Germany, these extending through Poland. <br>Switzerland and Italy should be dry with lots of sunshine. This sunshine continues into the former Yugoslavia. Greece and Turkey are both going to be dry with lots of sunshine and feeling hot as well. More sunshine across Bulgaria and Romania. <br>Rain and heavy showers passing across the Ukraine and Belarus, with heavier showers and rain across Poland. This heavy rain and showers passing into the Baltic States. <br>Dry with lots of sunshine for Finland and most of Norway and Sweden. The south of Norway and Sweden as well as Denmark will have rain and showers.
