Very warm and sunny for much of Europe on Saturday

Today
With high pressure centred in the central Mediterranean, much of the Mediterranean and Europe is looking warmer and fine today. Lots of sunshine will prevail across Portugal, Spain across France, Italy into Austria, Switzerland, Greece and Turkey. An area of heavy rain is expected to affect parts of the United Kingdom today. A fine day to come across the Low Countries.
Morning rain across Germany and Denmark will be clearing from the west later in the afternoon and Poland will have sunny spells and a few showers. Low pressure over Scandinavia will keep it unsettled with sunshine and showers, some heavy.

Saturday
An area of heavy rain across Scotland is expected to spread into Norway and Holland in the afternoon then into Sweden. Expect sunny spells and scattered showers across Poland, The Baltic States and Finland today.
For the bulk of Europe and throughout the whole of the Mediterranean Region it' largely fine and dry with good sunny spells. It becomes quite warm toady across France and Germany and also for much of eastern Europe as well as high pressure continues to dominate. Very hot across Spain, the Balearics and Turkey.
