Very warm across southern Europe
Today
A deep low and an active front will spread rain across the United Kingdom into the Low Countries and northern France in the afternoon.
High pressure centred near the Balearics will give a large part of Europe a fine day. Lots of warm sunshine is expected across Iberia into southern France, Italy across into the Balkans. Dry and sunny too for The Alpine Region into the former Czech Republic into Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia. Still very warm but not quite so hot for Bulgaria today.
Outbreaks of rain will affect much of Scandinavia, Belarus with heavy, thundery rain moving across Russia.
Friday
More rain sweeps in across England today. Mainly dry and mostly sunny across France and the Low Countries until rain arrives late in the day but staying sunny across central and southern France. Fine and sunny across Germany and much of Poland. Outbreaks of rain will spread across Scandinavia into the Baltic States with sunnier spells and showers replacing the rain across Norway. Heavy, thundery rain will affect Russia. For the rest of Europe and across the Mediterranean Region it stays sunny, dry and very warm.
