Sunny and warmest across the Mediterranean
Today
An area of moderate to locally heavy rain will extend from the Baltic States across Poland into Germany and France. A breezy and chilly day across Scandinavia with sunshine and showers across Norway and Sweden with rain for Finland.
High pressure dominate the United Kingdom so fine and dry here. Heavy rain with thunderstorms will affect The Alpine Region and the former Czech Republic. A few thunderstorms will also develop across Hungary. For Spain, Portugal, the far south of France into Italy, Greece and Turkey, it looks warm and sunny.

Cooler air spreads south into eastern parts of Europe today. Breezy here as well. Across southern France a gusty mistral will be blowing all day. Persistent and sometimes heavy rain is expected across Italy into Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Slovakia. Lots of showers to come across Poland, Germany, The Baltic States, Sweden and the Low Countries.
A fine, sunny day to come across England and Norway. Dry as well again across Iberia into France and the Balearics. Continued dry as well across Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey. Very hot across the eastern part of the Mediterranean Region today.
