Showers and rain to the east of Europe, but better conditions in the west

Today
A showery day over southern Spain and Portugal with a few of the showers heavy at times. Over the rest of Iberia the weather will be dry with plenty of sunshine and will be feeling warm. France is going to be dry throughout, under high pressure, with plenty of sunshine. Dry too in the Low Countries and most of Germany, although there will be some showers along the north of Germany.
For Switzerland, Austria and Hungary as well as the Czech Republic and Slovakia will both be dry with more sunshine to come here, and feeling warm as well. Fine over Italy in plenty of sunshine, and more sunshine too across the former Yugoslavia. An odd shower over the mountains of Greece, but Turkey should be dry with plenty of sunshine, and the sunshine extends through Crete and Cyprus too as well as into Israel.
Bulgaria should be generally dry, but Romania is going to be largely wet with rain sweeping east, and windy too. The Ukraine will be having cloud and showers or rain, some of this heavy in places. A few showers in Belarus.
Poland should be generally dry in sunshine, whilst rain and strong winds sweep through the Baltic States and Finland. Showers for southern Norway, but drier to the north. Windy with some rain in western Norway, but drier to the south.

Thursday
Showers probably more widespread over Spain today, a few of them heavy at times. Portugal should be drier with sunny spells. Over France the weather will be dry and sunny again. Staying fair over the Low Countries and Germany with plenty of sunshine. The sunshine extends through Denmark and Poland as well as extending through Switzerland, Austria and Hungary.
Plenty of sunshine for Italy and dry here too. Remaining fine in the former Yugoslavia with more sunshine to come. Fair too for Greece in more sunshine, staying that way in Crete and Cyprus as well as throughout Turkey. Bulgaria and Romania should both be fair with sunshine. More unsettled for the Ukraine with heavy rain and showers, together with strong winds. An odd shower for Belarus.
Mainly fair for the Baltic States and Finland in good spells of sunshine. Fair too throughout Sweden and southern Norway, although there will be some rain and showers in the west with stronger winds.
