Warmest and sunniest across Iberia

Today
Very windy across Scandinavia with strong gales to affect Norway.. Much cooler across mainland parts of Europe today as well. A belt of moderate to locally heavy rain will lie from Sweden across eastern parts of Germany, western Poland into the former Czech Republic and the Alpine Region. A dry, bright day to come across Finland.
Cool and breezy across the United Kingdom, The Low Countries, France, Norway and western parts of Germany with occasional showers. Fine and dry for the Baltic States into Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine with sunny spells. While a few showers will affect northern Spain, it's a dry day across much of Iberia with scattered showers around the Balearics. Ann area of heavy rain with a risk of thunderstorms will move across central Italy with the north and south fair and dry. Another fine, sunny day across the Balkans into Bulgaria, Romania and the former Yugoslav Republic.

Wednesday
Another very chilly day to come across much of Europe with a brisk north wind to bring lots of cloud and some light rain to parts of England, France and some heavy showers for the Low Countries and Germany. Lots of showers to come for Sweden and Norway as well with Finland sunnier and just the odd shower in the north. Largely dry and bright for Poland while it looks cloudy with some light rain for the Baltic States and Belarus.
An area of heavier rain will clear the far south of Italy as it moves into the former Yugoslav Republic and Hungary. Another area of rain will push into northern Italy. Rain is also in the forecast across Switzerland, Austria and the former Czech Republic. Fine, dry and warmer toady across Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey with rain and showers into Greece. Portugal, Spain and the Balearics will have a fine, sunny and warm day.
