Mainly fair for many southern areas this weekend, but more unsettled to the north
Today
Some showers breaking out over southern Spain and perhaps southern Portugal this afternoon. Generally though, most of Iberia is going to be dry with plenty of sunshine. Over France high pressure will be staying close by too, and this is going to be bringing lots of sunshine and warm conditions. Dry for the Low Countries with sunny spells here. Scattered showers in Germany, but some dry weather here with more sunshine too. Some showers in northern Switzerland and the north of Austria and Hungary, but dry in the south of these countries.
Dry in central and northern Italy with lots of sunshine, a few showers to the south. Sowers for the former Yugoslavia, with heavy showers in northern Greece too. The south of Greece will be dry with sunshine, and the fine weather extends through Crete, Cyprus, Israel and Turkey too. Heavy showers in Romania, with dry weather and sunshine in Bulgaria.
Scattered showers in the Ukraine and Belarus, with some cloud and a few bright spells over the Baltic States. A few showers too in Finland, whilst Sweden and Denmark will be dry with sunshine. A fair start in Norway too, but then cloud and rain spreading to the west later, together with increasing winds.
Sunday
Mainly fair through most of southern Europe. Spain and Portugal are going to be staying dry with good spells of sunshine. There will be fine conditions too in France and also for most of the Low Countries, although a risk of rain here in the evening. Dry too in Germany, with winds increasing in the north later. Over Poland, Hungary, Austria and Switzerland the sun is going to be shining brightly, and it should be warm too.
A chance of a shower over higher parts of Italy and the former Yugoslavia, but generally dry for most places in lots of sunshine. Heavy showers in the north of Greece and Romania, whilst the south of Greece and Turkey will be dry.
Fair for Belarus. An unsettled day in Scandinavia where low pressure will be bringing strong winds and rain to the Baltic States, with heavy showers and rain through Sweden. More cloud and rain over Denmark, with heavy showers and longer spells of rain in Norway too.
