Today an area of moderate to locally heavy rain will lie from Norway, Sweden into the Baltic States, Poland and Germany. Lighter rain is expected across Finland. High pressure continues to give England, France and Benelux dry, settled weather. Once morning fog clears expect spells of warm sunshine. Just a few scattered showers may affect the south of Spain and Italy, otherwise a fine, warm sunny day is forecast for central and northern parts of Iberia. Fine sunny and very warm across Greece and Turkey. For The remainder of Europe it looks settled with sunny intervals.

A fresher day to come across much of Europe but much cooler in the east. High pressure will bring a settled, dry and mostly sunny day to the United Kingdom , France and The Low Countries. A cloudy day for Germany and Poland with some light rain through the day. Heavier rain will fall across Romania and the former Yugoslavia, Austria and the former Czech Republic. Cold and breezy with sunny and dry across much of Scandinavia today though rain will reach western Norway later. Fine across the Baltic States today. Heavy thunderstorms are expected across the far south of Portugal today while it's sunny and warm for Spain and the Balearics. Mainly dry and sunny across Italy except for the odd shower. Very warm to hot across Greece and Turkey.
