Fine conditions in central Europe with plenty of sunshine, but heavy showers over Spain and Portugal
Today
An unsettled day to come across Spain and Portugal. Some heavy showers or longer spells of rain, with a risk of thunderstorms too. Over France the day is going to be dry with plenty of sunshine and it should be dry. This dry weather extending throughout the Low Countries and Germany. Poland is going to have a fine day, warm with plenty of sunshine here. For central Europe, Switzerland, Austria and Hungary should be dry with good spells of sunshine.
Italy will be fine with plenty of sunshine and it is going to be dry too. The Former Yugoslavia stays dry. Most of Greece will be dry, although there could be a few showers in the south. Showers too for Crete, but Cyprus and Turkey should be generally dry with sunshine. Bulgaria and Romania will be dry, as will be the Ukraine and Belarus.
Over the Baltic States it will be wet in rain, this clearing eastwards and a few showers in Finland. Fair for the north of Sweden, but showers or rain and strong winds to the south.
Saturday
Fair for southern Spain in sunny spells, with the whole of Portugal staying dry and sunny too. Heavy showers across the southwest of France, or some longer periods of rain. Elsewhere in rain there will be dry conditions and sunshine. For the Low Countries there may be an odd shower, but Germany should be dry with good spells of sunshine. Staying fair too for Poland in more sunshine.
Over Switzerland and Austria together with Hungary will be dry. Lots of sunshine here and feeling very warm too.
Italy is going to be dry in lots of sunshine, with fair conditions across the former Yugoslavia. Greece is going to be dry too, more sunshine here and feeling very warm. Crete and Cyprus will be dry with sunshine here, whilst an odd shower may affect Turkey too.
Romania and Bulgaria will be dry with some good spells of sunshine. Fair over the west of the Ukraine, with showers in the east. Fair over Belarus with lots of sunshine.
The Baltic States will have a few showers, whilst strong winds and heavy rain affects Finland. Most of Sweden will be dry and sunny. Fair across Denmark and eastern Norway, but heavy showers for western parts of Norway.
