Cloud and rain through Iberia, becoming heavier on Wednesday but better for the south-eastern Mediterranean

Today
An unsettled day to come across Spain and Portugal. Outbreaks of rain and showers, the heaviest of these through more southern areas. Cloud and showers or rain will be affecting the north and west of France. Through central and southern parts of France it should be warmer and sunnier. Rather cloudy through the Low Countries with a few showers. Northern Germany will be dry and sunny, although central and southern areas will have cloud and drizzle.
Heavier periods of rain through the southern half of Poland, but the north of Poland should be dry and sunny. The dry and fine weather extending into Denmark as well. For Switzerland the weather should be dry, although Austria and Hungary are likely to have cloud and rain.
Italy will be dry and sunny, whilst the former Yugoslavia will be remaining dry and sunny too. Through Greece, Crete and Cyprus as well as Turkey it is going to be dry with plenty of sunshine and will be warm as well. Bulgaria, Romania and the Ukraine will be remaining dry too with plenty more sunshine.
Rain moving into Belarus, with heavier rain and showers crossing the Low Countries with a few showers in southern Finland. Northern Finland stays dry with more sunshine here. The whole of Sweden will be dry with lots of sunshine and most of Norway should be dry too, although there will be some rain in the far west.

Wednesday
Low pressure over Spain will be bringing rain, some of it heavy at times. An odd shower for Portugal, but for most of the country it should be dry, and the far southern coasts of Spain should stay dry too. Cloud and some rain or showers across much of France. For the Low Countries it will be staying dry with more sunshine here, whilst most of northern Germany and Denmark will be staying dry with more sunshine too. A band of rain through central Germany, although southern Germany should be dry.
For Poland there will be some good spells of sunshine, although a few showers along northern coasts. For Switzerland the day should be dry with sunny spells. Some showers over Austria and Hungary. Across Italy and the former Yugoslavia there will be some good spells of sunshine and it should be dry.
Across Greece, Crete, Cyprus and Turkey it should be generally dry with sunshine, although an odd shower is possible over the Turkish mountains. For Bulgaria and Romania it will be staying dry and there will be sunny spells. Showers over western Ukraine and Belarus.
More persistent rain and showers over the Baltic States and the far south of Finland. For most of the rest of Finland the day will be dry with sunny spells. For Sweden and Norway it should be dry with plenty of sunshine, although cloud and rain affecting the far north.
