Remaining unsettled in central Mediterranean

Today
Windy and cooler today across Scandinavia. A wet day with heavy spells of rain for Finland while much of Sweden is fine and dry. Heavy showers are forecast for western Norway with eastern areas sunnier and mainly dry. High pressure will give much of central Europe a settled day. Dry for the United Kingdom into northern France, The Low Countries and Germany with sunny spells and patchy morning fog. Southern parts of France will see a few showers.
Heavy showers and rain across the far south of Italy will clear this morning with much of the country then fine and dry. Outbreaks of rain and heavy showers will affect Greece while Turkey looks dry and sunny. An area of rain across northern Germany and the Baltic States spreads into Belarus. Fine today across the Alpine Region into the former Czech Republic and the former Yugoslavia along with Romania and Bulgaria. Lots of warm sunshine to come for Portugal and Spain though a few scattered showers will affect Spain.

Tuesday
Outbreaks of heavy rain will sweep across the United Kingdom today. A large area of high pressure will dominate central Europe. Lots of fine, dry weather is forecast for France, Germany, The Low Countries, eastward into Denmark, Poland into Belarus. Showers will fall across the Baltic States with more persistent rain into Russia. Lots of dry weather too across Scandinavia with just a few showers across Finland and the coasts of Norway.
Dense morning fog patches across the Alpine Region, The Czech Republic and Romania will clear to sunny skies. Lots of showers today for Greece, central andsouthern Italy with the north staying dry of Italy. Overall another dry day to come for Turkey with just the odd shower. The same for Portugal and Spain with lots of sunshine and just a few scattered showers in the south mainly.
