Today
An area of rain across Norway into Scotland will move east across into Sweden and Finland with some heavy bursts across Scandinavia.
With high pressure in control, it looks dry for England, France and the Low Countries with morning fog dispersing to bright or sunnier spells. A cold day across Germany and eastern parts of Europe with a frosty start to the morning. Lots of dry, sunny weather is forecast for Germany, Denmark into Poland, and The Baltic States.
Outbreaks of rain will affect Russia, Belarus and Turkey. Plenty of sunshine to come across The Alpine Region into the former Czech and Yugoslav Republics along with Greece. Warmer for Spain, Portugal and the Balearics with sunny skies. Fine too today across Italy with well broken cloud.
Monday
It becomes unsettled across the United Kingdom today as an area of rain moves in from the west. This also spreads into western parts of Norway. For Finland and Sweden it will remain fine and dry with morning frost then sunny.
A large area of high pressure is expected to dominate much of mainland Europe. Lots of dry weather to come from France eastward into German, Belgium, The Netherlands and Poland. It's cold morning in the east with a widespread frost but it turns warmer across France today. Look out for some locally dense fog across central Europe in the morning. A number of showers are forecast for Portugal and Spain today but expect sunny spells too. Fine across into the Balearics into Italy and Greece with sunny skies while heavy rain is forecast for eastern Turkey. For Bulgaria and Romania it's dry and mostly sunny.
