Unsettled through the northeast, windy and rain here; drier in the west

Today
A dry day through Iberia with some good spells of sunshine over Spain and Portugal. It will be remaining dry through France with more sunny spells to come here, although it will be breezy along northern coasts. Thicker cloud and some outbreaks of rain through the Low Countries and northern Germany, with some heavier rain into the north of Poland, where it will also be windy.
Over Switzerland, Austria and Hungary the weather will be staying dry with more dry weather in all places. A fine day to come through Italy too, as well as through the former Yugoslavia. A chance of some showers for Greece and northern Turkey. Southern Turkey, Crete and Cyprus should be dry with sunny spells throughout.
A cold plunge of air moving through Ukraine and Bulgaria, bringing showery outbreaks of rain here. Chilly in the Ukraine and Belarus too.
For the Baltic States the weather will be far more unsettled. Here there will be strong winds and some heavy periods of rain, with cloud and rain affecting Finland too. For Sweden the weather should be fair, although breezy, whilst rain affects the west of Norway.

Sunday
Dry again for Spain and Portugal, with some good spells of sunshine to come here. There will be some more sunshine over southern France, whilst northern parts of France have some cloud, although will stay dry. The Low Countries become cooler and brighter, with some fine weather for most of northern and central Germany too. There will be some cloud and stronger winds over Poland, with a risk of showers here.
Switzerland, Austria and Hungary will be affected by a cold front plunging southwards and this will be bringing some periods of rain here. Further spells of sunshine down through Italy, and these also affecting much of the former Yugoslavia. Greece and Turkey should be largely fine, although a few showers may affect western Greece.
For Bulgaria it will be dry with sunshine, but rain may affect northern Bulgaria. Much colder weather with showers into the Ukraine and Belarus.
The cloudier, colder skies affect much of Finland, although it should become brighter here in the afternoon. Rather windy in Finland and chilly, with plenty of sunshine and dry weather throughout Norway and Sweden.
