Heavy rain for France, thunderstorms across Iberia
Today
An area of rain will stretch from Norway into the United Kingdom with heavy bursts across Norway. Mainly dry and brighter for Sweden with rain expected across Finland. Another belt if heavy rain with a risk of thunderstorms will affect southern France and the Balearics with snow over the Alpine Region. Showers are also expected across Spain with a dry, sunnier day for Portugal.
A dry, sunny day across much of Italy though showers will spread into the far north later in the day. Easter parts of Europe will be under high pressure so while it will be a cold day, it does look dry across Poland, The Baltic States into Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine. Some light rain is forecast across Germany and the Low Countries today. Fine, sunny and dry weather will also prevail across the former Yugoslavia into Greece and Turkey.

A colder, winder day across the United Kingdom with sunnier spells. Colder too for Norway with early rain clearing the south then mainly dry and sunnier except for showers around the western coast.
A large area of rain along a front will stretch from Sweden, Finland into the Baltic States, northern Poland, Germany into France and northern Italy and the Alpine Region. The rain looks heaviest across Austria with snow on high ground. Southern parts of Italy will stay fine and dry.
A drier, sunnier day across Iberia but later heavy, thundery showers will move into southern Portugal. Windy with just a few showers around the coasts of Belgium. A dry day for the former Czech Republic, the former Yugoslavia, Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary with sunny spells and morning fog. A fine, mostly sunny day across Greece and Turkey.
