Fine and sunny weather prevails across Iberia
Today
Windy with rain clearing England by the afternoon. For northern France, the Low Counties and Germany it's a cloudy wet day with outbreaks of rain, much of it quite light. Some rain too will move into Holland and Denmark. Another area of heavier rain is expected from central parts of Norway and Sweden into southern Finland. Cold and sunny for northern and central parts of Finland today.
A fine, dry day with sunny spells for Spain into southern France, The Alpine Region into northern parts of Italy. Dry as well into the Czech Republic, Romania, Poland, the Baltic States and Hungary but quite cold across eastern Europe. Another area of heavy rain and thundery showers will lie from the former Yugoslavia into central and southern Italy towards the Balearics. This then spreads into Greece with a fine, dry day across Turkey.
Friday
A wet windy day for the United Kingdom into Belgium, northern Germany and the Netherlands. This rain then spreads into northern parts of France in the afternoon. Winds will reach gale force around the England Channel today. Another area of rain will be moving across Poland into Belarus into western Russia and the Baltic States where it will be mixed with snow. Patchy rain across the south of France should die away in the afternoon.
For Portugal, Spain, the Balearics and Italy expect a fine, dry and sunny day. Greece will be cloudier with some rain and showers mainly in the west. Fine though into Turkey. Mostly dry across the Alpine Region with a cloudy day with snow flurries across the former Czech Republic. It looks mainly fine and dry across much of Scandinavia but later wind and rain spread into Norway.
