Windy and wet for eastern Mediterranean

Today
With high pressure centred over France, a fine day is expected across England, France and Spain with good sunny spells and feeling mild too. Some dense fog patches though through central France may be slow to clear. Dry and mostly sunny as well across The Low Counties. Heavier rain will fall across Norway and light rain spreads into Finland with some snow at first. Cloudy across Germany with outbreaks of light rain. In the afternoon it dries and brightens up across western Germany. An area of rain will lie from Sweden south into Denmark, eastern Germany across the former Czech Republic and moves into western Poland in the afternoon. Much of this will be quite light.
Eastern parts of Poland along with Belarus, Russia and the Ukraine will have a dry day with sunny spells but here it's much colder with a frosty morning. Expect some light rain and snow across Romania and Hungary today with a dry day for Bulgaria. Fine and sunny across Greece but very unsettled for Turkey with spells of heavy rain and heavy snow will affect the north. Very windy too across the eastern Mediterranean with gusts to gale force. Sunny and dry weather will prevail across the Alpine Region into Italy.

Tuesday
An area of rain will lie across northern Finland and northern Sweden into Norway then into the United Kingdom. Southern parts of Sweden and Finland will be fair, dry and bright.
A large, broad area of High pressure centred over France will extend into eastern Europe and keep much of mainland Europe settled and dry. So from Iberia into France and all areas eastward it's a dry day with sunny spells though some dense fog patches are likely across France and Germany which may linger in some places into the early afternoon. Western parts of Europe will remain unseasonably mild but it becomes colder the further east you go. Some patchy rain is likely across the Baltic States with a sunny cold day across Russia and the Ukraine. Sunny and dry as well from the Balearics into Italy and Greece with gales and rain expected across Turkey but snow is possible in the north.
