Thursday
Another fair day across Spain and Portugal. Some reasonable spells of sunshine to come here, the best of these in the south. More fair weather through the Balearics and across the majority of France too. Strong winds and heavy rain will be reaching northern France this afternoon. Gales and rain arrive in the Low Countries towards evening, those gales affecting the north of Germany too. For most of Germany and Poland the day should be dry with some sunny spells. Across northern Italy it should be fine, although misty with a risk of some fog patches. Over central and southern Italy the day will be more unsettled with some showers, a few of them heavy.
Greece should be generally dry with sunny spells and this fine weather extending into Crete, Cyprus and Turkey. As few showers in Bulgaria and Romania, but generally dry conditions for most.
To the north fair weather will be affecting much of the Baltic States. After a fine start rain and sleet will be arriving in Finland. Gale force winds for Denmark and Sweden with some rain here later. A very stormy day across most of Norway with heavy periods of rain, this turning to snow and then clearing to snow showers later.
