Low pressure brings frequent bands of rain and strong winds, snow to the north

Sunday
Periods of showery rain moving into the west of Portugal and northwest Spain today. Rain and stronger winds into the far west of France as well. More central and eastern areas will be drier though, with sunny spells. Most of France should be dry too, with the Low Countries be mainly dry with sunny spells. Some more drizzle over the far north of Germany, but elsewhere it will be drier and milder. Poland should be dry with sunny spells and an early frost. Some cloud and outbreaks of rain across Austria and Hungary, a few showers into Switzerland as well.
For Italy there will be frequent showers, a few of them on the heavy side, and these showers moving into the west of Greece as well. Over Turkey it will be dry and frosty, but with sunny spells for most. It should be dry too with more sunshine through Bulgaria and Romania.
A breezy day with some showers in the Baltic States, with snow across Finland and a risk of gales here too. Generally dry in Sweden with sunny spells, and breezy to the south as well. Norway should be dry with sunshine, although thicker cloud and some drizzle into Denmark.

Monday
Portugal and western Spain should be dry with some sunshine. However, eastern Spain and the Balearics will have more in the way of cloud with some outbreaks of rain. This rain extending through southeast France, whilst the west of France will have stronger winds and heavy showers. More wind and showers extending through the Low Countries, with some rain for the north and west of Germany. Eastern Germany should be drier with some sunshine here. Brighter too across Poland, Austria and Hungary. Switzerland should be dry with sunny spells, although a risk of some showers in the far west.
Much of Italy is going to be dry with sunny spells, although a chance of a few showers. Heavier showers breaking out over Greece. Turkey should be dry with sunny spells and a morning frost. Dry and frosty too for Bulgaria and Romania.
The Baltic States are likely to be milder with some drizzle. A dry start in Finland, but then cloud and rain or sleet moving in later. Rather cloudy and mild over Sweden, with heavier rain coming through Denmark and Norway.
