Today
Windy across the United Kingdom, The Low Countries and northern France with heavy showers and sunnier spells. An area of rain will lie from western Germany into southern France and along eastern coasts of Spain. This clears eastern Spain in the afternoon with sunny spells an a few showers then for Iberia. The rain looks heavy in the south of France and also moves into the Balearics this evening. Windy too for Scandinavia with rain across Norway pushing into Sweden and Finland.
Outbreaks of rain will fall across Switzerland and Austria with snow over the higher elevations. Rather cloudy and colder but mainly dry weather to prevail across eastern Germany into Poland, The Baltic States, Belarus into Russia. A dry, mostly sunny day to come across Italy into the former Yugoslavia, Hungary and Bulgaria. A wet day across Greece and western Turkey with persistent rain while central and eastern Turkey is fair, dry and bright.
Tuesday
An area of heavy rain accompanied by strong gales will sweep in across the United Kingdom into France, northern Spain, Belgium, Holland and the far north west of Germany today. A fine, dry day for central and southern parts of Iberia with sunny spells. Milder and windy as well across Scandinavia with heavy rain for Norway but light rain across Sweden and Finland.
A dry day for the south of France and for much of Germany. Settled and dry too across Poland, Belarus, the Ukraine into Russia with sleety rain forecast for the Baltic States. It's dry across the Alpine Region into the former Czech Republic into Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and the former Yugoslavia. Rain will move into the far north of Italy with central and southern areas fine and sunny. An area of rain will be moving across Turkey but dry and sunny today for Greece and Bulgaria.
