A fine day for much of the Mediterranean, but not so good to the north

Monday
High pressure brings a fine day through Spain and Portugal. Lots of sunshine here, and this sunshine extends to the southern half of France as well. Northern France has thicker cloud, this bringing some periods of rain. The rain extends through the Low Countries too, with a line of rain stretching through northern Germany and affecting much of Poland. Hungary and Austria should be generally dry, as will be Switzerland.
Italy is going to have a dry day with some more sunshine to come here, and generally light winds. Over Greece and Turkey the weather should be staying dry. More sunshine to come, and staying mainly fair in Bulgaria and Romania as well.
Heavy rain and snow affects the Baltic States and Finland, whilst most of Sweden has a dry day with some sunshine. Sunshine for northern Denmark too but rain in the south. Mainly dry over the south of Norway, although snow showers will be affecting the north.

Tuesday
Another fair day to come over the whole of Spain and Portugal. More periods of sunshine here. A band of more showery rain will be lying through southern parts of France, although southern coasts should be dry. It should be dry too over the north of France, with the Low Countries, Germany and Denmark all mainly dry. Southern Germany could see some morning rain, this extending through the Czech Republic, Slovakia and into much of Poland. A more unsettled day across Hungary and Austria with sleet and rain, but snow through Switzerland.
Some showers too over central and southern Italy, but the north should be drier with sunny spells. Greece, Crete, Cyprus and Turkey all stay dry with more sunshine to come throughout the day here. Bulgaria and Romania stay mainly dry and bright, although some thicker cloud could bring patchy rain to the west later.
Snow showers are likely across the Baltic States and Finland, whilst high pressure builds in Norway and Sweden bringing a cold but dry day here.
