Sunny and warm across Iberia

Today
It turns colder across the United Kingdom today with showers becoming wintry in the north. An area of moderate to heavy rain will lie across southern Sweden, Denmark, Germany and northern France. Fine and dry across central and southern France. Another area of rain will lie across Norway, western Sweden and Finland where it will be heaviest. High pressure will give Russia, The Baltic States and Poland a dry day with sunny spells after a frosty start.
Quite unsettled across south east Europe with showers and longer spells of rain across southern Italy, the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Hungary and Greece and this spreads into the far west of Turkey later in the afternoon. Dry and sunnier across eastern Turkey. Very warm and sunny across Spain today and fine as well across southern France, the Balearics into northern Italy but cooler here.

Colder air will be spilling in across Europe from the north. Scattered showers will become more wintry across the United Kingdom, northern France, The Low Countries and parts of Germany. Rain showers will develop across the rest of France with some heavy snow showers for the Alpine Region. Breezy and cold across Scandinavia with some sunshine but with occasional wintry showers across Norway, Sweden and northern Finland. A band of rain will lie from the Baltic States, Belarus, the Ukraine, Romania into Hungary which will be heavy in places.
Continued sunny, warm and dry across Portugal, Spain and the Balearics into southern France. Largely dry across Italy with a few widely scattered showers. A better day for Bulgaria, Hungary, the former Yugoslavia and Greece with a dry day to come with sunny spells. Very unsettled across Turkey with heavy showers and rain.
