Becoming a bit milder but snow across Scandinavia

Today
A gusty east wind will be blowing across Finland today with an area of heavy rain across Finland, The Baltic States and this spreads into Sweden and eastern Poland in the afternoon. Fine for Norway today with sunny spells after a frosty morning. Not quite as cold across the United Kingdom with showers for most areas. A few showers are expected across Denmark and the Netherlands with a dry day for The Low Countries.
Wet and windy weather will spill in across western Iberia today and this rain will be heavy with a risk of thundery showers. A band of lighter rain will lie across France through the day. After a sunny morning, some light rain is also likely for western parts of Germany. A few snow showers to come across the Alpine Region today but fair and dry across the former Czech Republic. A few afternoon showers will reach the Balearics while an area of heavier rain is forecast for northern and central parts of Italy. The far south is looking dry al day with some sunshine until rain arrives in the evening. Heavy rain will fall across the former Yugoslavia with a dry, mostly sunny day for Greece and Turkey. Fine as well moving into Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania.

Wednesday
Chilly across the United Kingdom with a day of sunshine and showers. Fine and dry for northern France, The Low Countries and Holland with some sunshine. An area of rain will lie across Germany into central and southern France. Very wet and windy across Portugal and Spain again today with heavy, thundery rain and this moves into the Balearics later. Rain too across the northern half of Italy with southern areas dry and sunny.
Rain is forecast across the Alpine Region with snow over the Alps. Southern parts of Norway and Sweden looks dry today but outbreaks of snow are forecast across northern parts of Norway, Sweden and all of Finland. Largely dry across Poland and the Baltic States with sunny spells. Snow showers will affect Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine. Patchy light rain is likely across the former Czech Republic, Romania and the former Yugoslavia. Fine and sunny weather will prevail cross Hungary, Bulgaria and Greece with showers across Turkey.
