High pressure bringing some fair weather to much of central Europe, with unsettled conditions to the north

Sunday
A cold front brings some rain to the far northwest of Spain today. For the rest of Spain and Portugal the weather is going to be dry with some good spells of sunshine. Heavy showers or even longer periods of rain over the west and northwest of France, whilst the east and south will be staying largely dry and bright. Showers for the Low Countries, some of them heavy and spreading into the far west of Germany. Towards the east and south it will be dry with sunny spells. More dry weather and sunny spells across the whole of Poland. For Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland it will be dry with plenty of sunshine.
Italy has a fine day with plenty of sunshine to come throughout the day here. More unsettled for Greece with the risk of showers, and some of these are going to be heavy at times. Further showers for Crete and Cyprus as well as Turkey. Cloud and rain across eastern Bulgaria and Romania but fair in the west.
High pressure extends across the Baltic States bringing dry and fine weather here. More cloud and a few outbreaks of drizzle to come across Finland. Fair weather for much of Sweden and Denmark, whilst cloud and periods of rain affect Norway.

Monday
Some showers passing through Spain, but for most of the country it should be dry with lots of sunshine. Further periods of sunshine for most of Portugal. A band of rain also pass across France, with showers following to the west. More rain and showers cross the Low Countries, with some heavier periods of rain in western Germany. To the east it is likely to be drier. Poland should be dry with some sunshine. Across Austria, Hungary and Switzerland it will be staying fair with sunny spells and dry weather throughout the day.
High pressure extending into Italy gives lots of sunshine. A few showers for Greece and Crete, but some sunshine too. Heavier showers affecting Cyprus and Turkey. Eastern parts of Bulgaria and Romania see more cloud and rain, but to the west it should be drier and brighter.
To the north the Baltic States have high pressure bringing good sunny spells. More sunshine to come for Finland too, as well as much of Sweden, although it will turn windier here. Some rain pushing into Denmark, becoming heavy. Further rain and cloud for Norway and again this could be heavy.
