Mainly dry in the west, but some rain to the southeast
Thursday
An easterly wind across Iberia today. It is going to be feeling rather cool through the Balearics and eastern coasts of Spain, but mainly dry with some sunny spells. The best of the sunshine through southern Spain and western Portugal, feeling milder here as well. Cloud and some drizzle for the west of France, but drier to the east with sunny spells. Generally dry across the Low Countries, but wintry showers plunging south through Germany and Denmark. Cloudier across Poland with a few wintry showers here.
Cloud and some showers across Austria and Hungary, with a risk of some wintry showers plunging southwards towards Switzerland.
Low pressure in the Adriatic bringing more unsettled weather to Italy. There will be showers here, with more persistent rain to the far south. Greece will be bright with sunny spells and the risk of some heavy showers developing. Cloud and some rain in central and eastern Turkey, but brighter to the west and drier here too. Some showers to come across Bulgaria and Romania with some sunny spells too.
Cloud and some snow showers in the Baltic States and Finland. brighter, cooler weather affecting Sweden and southern Norway, but cloud and some showers over northern Norway.
Friday
A few showers to come over northern Spain on Friday. Cooler weather to the east and through the Balearics with a risk of some showers here. To the west and south it will be dry with sunshine, and should stay mild and sunny across the whole of Portugal. Cloudier skies for central and northern France with some drizzle here. Drier across southern France and brighter too with sunny spells. Cloud and mainly dry in the Low Countries with a risk of some drizzle affecting northern coasts of Germany. Central and southern Germany will be rather cloudy too, but it should be dry here. Bright skies in Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
Low pressure close to southern Italy bringing an unsettled day to most of the country with rain or showers. More heavy showers across Greece and western Turkey. Cloudy and some spots of rain for Bulgaria and Romania, this turning increasingly sleety.
For the Baltic States there will be some wintry showers, although mainly dry here. Generally dry through Finland too. Cloudier weather for Sweden, Denmark and Norway with periods of rain moving in, some of them heavy in Norway.
