Unsettled and showery today, but signs of an improvement in the west tomorrow
Sunday
A band of cloud and rain extending through northern parts of Portugal and northern Spain, as well as through central parts of France. For more southern parts of Spain and Portugal the day is going to be bright with sunny spells. The south of France should have a bright day too with more sunshine here. A bright day to come across the Low Countries, whilst some thicker cloud will be affecting the central and northern parts of Germany. This cloud and spots of rain extend into the west of Poland, whilst the rest of Poland is likely to be dry with some sunny spells.
For Austria and Hungary the day will be bright with sunny spells, but some showers could break out as well. A few showers to come over Switzerland too, and these are likely to be heavy at times.
Generally fair conditions for most of Italy with some good spells of sunshine to come here. There could be some showers in the far south of Italy and Sicily, with showers too for the north of Greece. Southern Greece should stay bright and dry with more sunshine here. High pressure through Turkey will be giving fair conditions here with more sunshine throughout the day. For Bulgaria the day will be bright and dry, but rain and showers passing into Romania.
Low pressure across the Baltic States will be bringing cloud and rain here, some of that heavy at times. More cloud and rain across Finland, this turning to snow. For Norway there will be sunny spells with scattered heavy showers developing. More showers to come across Denmark and southern Norway. Northern parts of Norway probably drier and brighter.
Monday
Pressure rising over the west of Europe today. This will bring some good spells of sunshine for Portugal and Spain. The far west of France should be dry too with some sunshine, although inland parts of France will be finding showers developing, and becoming heavy at times. Further showers to come across the Low Countries. A few more showers over Germany and Poland, some of them heavy. Scattered heavy showers to come across Austria and Hungary with more persistent rain for Switzerland.
To the south cloud and rain will be troubling the north of Italy. More central and southern areas of Italy should be brighter with some sunny periods to come here. Some cloud and showery rain affecting northern Greece, but the south should be brighter. Low pressure across Turkey will be bringing some heavy showers here. Showery too for Bulgaria, whilst cloud and rain affect Romania.
To the north skies over the Baltic States will be rather cloudy with a few spots of rain in the west. Cloud and some rain over Finland. Cloud and rain affects the far south of Norway too, whilst the north will be brighter with some showers. Brighter weather too for Denmark and Norway, although some showery bursts of rain to the west.
