Settled and dry across eastern Europe
Today
England and western parts of France will see morning rain clearing to sunnier spells during the afternoon while the rain spreads in across eastern France. After a fine morning a number of showers develop across the Low Counties.
High pressure across Scandinavia will maintain today so it will be staying dry and sunny across Norway, Sweden and Finland. This high will also give Russia, Belarus, The Baltic States, Poland and Germany a dry day with good spells of sunshine once early fog patches clear away. Frosty here to start the day as well. An area of rain will stretch from the Ukraine in across Romania, Hungary, the former Czech Republic and the Alpine Region into the former Yugoslavia and northern Italy. A few showers are likely across Spain along with sunny spells. Lots of sunshine will prevail from the Balearics into southern Italy, Greece and Turkey.
Thursday
An area of moderate to heavy rain clears the United Kingdom in the morning and moves into northern France and then Belgium. Scattered showers are expected across eastern France and western Germany. Fine and sunny across southern France and eastern Germany today.
High pressure in the east will give another fine sunny day for all of Scandinavia, Russia, the Baltic States, Poland, Romania, Belarus and the former Czech Republic. Quite a warm, sunny day to come across Portugal, Spain and the Balearics. A showery day to come for Italy with a few sunny spells too. Scattered showers will develop across the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Hungary. For Greece and Turkey it will be another warm day with long sunny spells.
