A fine day in much of central and western Europe
Friday
High pressure building through Portugal and Spain today. This will be bringing some very pleasant spells of sunshine to most of Iberia, and it is going to be feeling warm too. The high pressure through France, the Low Countries and much of Germany too with fine weather here and plenty of sunny spells. A weak front moving east through Poland will be bringing some showery rain, followed by sunny spells in the afternoon. A few showers for Hungary, but dry with some sunshine in Austria and Switzerland.
Italy is going to have sunny spells and dry weather, with dry conditions of southern and western Greece too. There could be a few showers in the north and east of Greece as well as over central and northern Turkey. Southern Turkey, Greece and Cyprus should be dry with some sunshine here.
High pressure over the Ukraine brings a fair day for the Baltic States with plenty of sunshine. More sunshine to come across Finland. For southern and central Sweden some rain will be moving in. Norway and Denmark also see showery rain, this followed by brighter weather in the afternoon.
Saturday
High pressure stays through Spain and Portugal as well as France today. This brings more warm conditions with good spells of sunshine for many.The high pressure also brings a fine day to the Low Counties and Germany with warm conditions here. The far east of Poland will be cloudy with some showers, whilst the west should be dry with sunshine. For Hungary there could be cloud and some outbreaks of rain, while Austria is going to be dry with some good spells of sunshine. Fair for Switzerland with some more sunshine to come here.
Most of northern and western Italy will have a dry day, but there will be some showers to the east and south. Some showers to come too across Greece, but southern Greece, Crete and Cyprus as well as southern Turkey should stay dry. Fine too for Bulgaria and Romania, with more sunshine to come here.
For the baltic States and Finland the day is going to be staying fair with more sunshine. There will be cloud and some showers across Sweden with some drizzle in Denmark. More cloud and some outbreaks of rain in the west and south of Norway.
