Hot for Spain and through the Mediterranean

Today
Today sees heavy rain spilling in across the United Kingdom and into Belgium. Much warmer today across France and here it's a dry, sunny day. Very warm again today across Portugal, Spain across the Balearics into Sardinia, Italy, the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey. Drier and sunnier across Germany today with scattered showers for the Alpine Region.
Plenty of heavy, thundery showers though for Poland, Belarus, the Baltic States, the Ukraine and Russia today. Longer spells of rain may affect Finland with sunny spells and just a few showers for Sweden and Norway. Look for a number of sharp showers too for Holland and Denmark. Lots of fine, warm and sunny weather is expected across the former Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria.

Thursday
Lots of showers to come across the United Kingdom today with an area of rain across the Low Countries and northern France. Very warm across France with central and southern areas sunny and mainly dry except for a few showers. Some showers and rain also across northern and eastern parts of Germany with the south fine and dry. Rain too will edge into western Poland with the east sunny, warm and dry.
A hot day across Spain with long sunny spells though some rain will affect the extreme north west corner. Sunny and dry into the Balearics with a hot, sunny day across Italy, Greece and Turkey. This very warm and sunny weather stretches up across the former Yugoslavia into Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania as well. Rain is expected today across Denmark and Holland with showers across Norway and rain across Finland. Much of Sweden looks fine and dry. Largely dry as well for the Baltic States while outbreaks of rain and showers are expected across Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine. High will be around 21C in both London and Brussels, 25C for Paris, 35C for Madrid, 32C in Rome, 28C in Bucharest, 35C in Athens, 23C in Warsaw, 21C for Berlin and 25C for Stockholm.
