A fine day for southern Europe, but rain or showers in central and northern areas

Thursday
Dry with some good spells of sunshine across Spain and Portugal. High pressure brings lots of sunshine through the Balearics and into much of southern and central France too. Thicker cloud over northern France brings periods of rain, some heavy at times. More cloud and some rain affecting the Low Countries and much of northern Germany. Southern Germany should be drier and milder, although an odd thundery showers could break out here. A risk of some patchy rain in the west of Poland.
A fair day over Austria and Hungary with plenty of sunshine. More dry weather with lots of sunshine throughout Switzerland, and this sunshine extending throughout Italy too. More sunshine to come through Greece and Turkey and feeling very warm here as well. The fine weather extends through Bulgaria and Romania with more sunshine throughout.
Further north there will be generally dry weather in the Baltic States, with some showers affecting Finland, a few of them heavy. After a fair start cloud and rain will spread into Denmark, whilst showers may affect Sweden. A chance of a shower over Norway too.

Friday
A few showers over western Portugal and the north of Spain today. Further showery rain extends throughout France, some heavy at times in central areas. To the north and south it should be drier and brighter. Some showers for the Low Countries and Germany, but these tending to fade from the north of both areas. Some rain in northern Poland, but drier to the south.
Hungary looks generally dry with sunny spells, but showers could affect Austria. Heavy showers too over Switzerland and the far north of Italy. For the rest of the country it should be dry with sunny spells and will be feeling warm everywhere.
Fine conditions across Greece and Turkey. Plenty of sunshine here throughout the day and feeling very warm too. More sunshine and warm weather to come across Bulgaria and Romania.
Over the Baltic States the day stay dry with lots of sunshine. A few showers over Finland, some heavy. Scattered showers too for Norway and Sweden, an odd one heavy. Over Denmark there will be some showers, but more persistent rain for southern parts of Denmark, some heavy.
