A fair day over much of southern Europe, but some outbreaks of rain or showers in the north

Thursday
A fair day over Spain and Portugal with plenty of sunshine and warm conditions to come here. For most of France the day should be dry too, with some good spells of sunshine. There could be a few showers in the far southeast. Mainly dry over the Low Countries and Germany with more sunny spells to come here. The far south of Germany could have some heavier periods of rain, this extending into the south of Poland and also affecting the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Austria and Hungary, as well as Switzerland will be cloudy and damp with periods of rain at times, some of it heavy.
Italy is under the influence of high pressure and this is going to be bringing lots of sunshine with sunny spells. Staying fine and dry across Greece and Turkey with plenty of sunshine here and feeling warm here too. Bulgaria and Romania will be dry with lots of sunshine and feeling very warm too.
Generally dry over the Baltic States with some showers extending into Finland. A few showers over Sweden and Denmark, these showers affecting Norway as well.

Friday
Fine weather over Spain and Portugal with lots of sunshine here. There will be plenty of sunshine too over France and it will be turning very warm here as well. Showers and cloud across the Low Countries and northern parts of Germany, but the south of Germany should be dry with sunny spells. A few spots of drizzle over northern Poland, but for most of the country it should be dry with more sunshine throughout the day.
Some cloud but mainly dry weather for Austria and Hungary. Mainly dry too over Switzerland, although the risk of spots of rain in the far east.
The area of high pressure is expected to be over Italy and Greece with lots of sunshine and dry weather over southeast Europe. More sunshine and warm weather throughout Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania.
Dry with sunny spells over the Baltic States. This dry and bright weather extending into Finland as well as northern Sweden. Cloudier weather over southern Sweden, Denmark and Norway with some cloud and outbreaks of rain here. Heavier showers across the north of Norway.
