Showers in central areas

Today
Heavy showers will develop across western England today but still quite hot. Heavy, thundery rain also moves in across western France with a few showers in the far north of Spain. Eastern France will also see some showers while central areas are mainly sunny and dry. Western parts of Germany will have sunshine and showers with heavy showers and thunderstorms across the Alpine Region. Most of Germany along with the Low Countries and Poland will be hot and sunny. A fine day across Norway and Finland but a few showers will develop across Sweden. High pressure will also keep the Baltic States, Russia, Belarus, the Ukraine, Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria fine, dry and sunny. Lots of heavy showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the former Yugoslavia and Greece today. Hot and sunny into Turkey, the rest of Iberia and Italy.
Highs will be around 29C in London, 30C for Brussels, 31C for Paris, 34C for Madrid, 30C in Rome, 29C in Bucharest, 33C in Athens, 29C in Warsaw, 31C in Berlin and 25C for Stockholm.

Tuesday
Lots of heavy showers to come today across the United Kingdom. Showers too for the Low Countries, the Netherlands into western Germany and across central and southern France. These heavy and thundery in nature. A good deal of fine, dry summery weather across eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
Lots of sunshine from eastern Germany across Denmark into the rest of Scandinavia, Poland, The Baltic States and Russia. Fine and dry as well for Belarus, The Ukraine and the former Czech Republic. Just a few scattered showers developing across Hungary and Romania but largely fine. Some showers too today across the former Yugoslavia and parts of Greece but sunny and warm across the Greek Isles and Turkey. A hot, sunny day across Portugal, Spain and Italy today.
