Unsettled through central and northern areas with rain and showers
Sunday
A dry day with some good spells of sunshine for most of Spain and Portugal. The could be a few showers affecting the far northeast coast though. Some showers too over the central parts of France, with stronger winds and some rain affecting northern and northwestern France. Through the Low Countries it should be a mainly fine day with some sunny spells and this fair weather extending to western Germany. For eastern Germany though there will be some rain and showers, these moving into western Poland.
An unsettled day across Austria and Hungary with heavy showers breaking out here. There will be further heavy showers or longer spells of rain across Switzerland.
Some heavy showers in northern Italy but for most of the country it should be a dry day with sunny spells throughout. High pressure should keep Greece and Turkey fair with sunshine here, and this sunshine and warm weather extending northwards across Bulgaria and Romania.
The Baltic States should be mainly dry with some sunny spells, although showers will be affecting Finland. More generally unsettled conditions to come over southern Norway, Denmark and southern Sweden with cloud and rain or showers in the south, but brighter and drier to the north.
Monday
Dry again across Spain and Portugal. There will be sunshine for all places too, although some cloud affecting the far northeast of the country. Most of central France is going to be dry with sunny spells, but cloud and some rain affects the far south of France. Northern France will be windier with cloud and periods of rain, some of it heavy. Further showers and rain passing through the Low Countries, these moving into Germany. More persistent rain over Poland, some of it heavy at times. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland will have showers and some of these could be heavy at times.
Over Italy there will be heavy showers in the far north, but over the rest of the country it will be dry with lots of sunshine. High pressure for Greece and Turkey with lots of sunshine in all places and it will be warm here too. Lots of sunshine and dry weather for Bulgaria and Romania.
Cloud and some periods of rain for the Baltic States, but dry with lots of sunshine across Finland. Cloud and periods of rain across southern Norway and Sweden as well as through Denmark. Northern Norway and Sweden should be drier with some sunny spells.
