Rain and showers across northern Europe, but fair to the south
Monday
There could be an odd shower over inland parts of Spain but generally Portugal and Spain will be fair with plenty of sunshine to come throughout the day. Lots of sunshine too for the south of France, but northern parts of France are going to become windy with rain, this perhaps heavy at times. Showers and breezy weather will be affecting the Low Countries, those showers merging to longer periods of rain in the afternoon. An odd shower for Germany, some of them heavy in the north, whilst showers and some outbreaks of rain affect Poland. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
Northern parts of Italy are going to have some showers, a few heavy over high ground. For more central and southern parts of the country it should be drier with some sunny spells coming through here. High pressure will be bringing lots of sunshine to Greece and Turkey, and it should be warm here. Similar conditions for Bulgaria and Romania with lots of sunshine and some very warm weather.
To the north it will be rather cloudy with some spots of rain or showers. Further showers are likely over Finland, a few of them heavy. Over southern parts of Norway, Sweden and Denmark there will be heavy showers or even longer periods of rain, whilst to the north it should be dry.
Tuesday
A dry day for Spain and Portugal with plenty of warm sunshine here throughout the day. More sunshine to come over much of France with many areas dry, although there will be heavy showers over the far north of France. Heavy, frequent and persistent showers blowing through the Low Countries and Germany, where it is also going to be breezy too. Further showers blowing into Poland with some sunny spells in-between. Fair for Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland, although there is a chance of a showers developing.
Showers affect the north of Italy at times, mostly confined to the Alpine regions. Across most of the country though the day is going to be dry with sunny spells throughout. High pressure brings a fine day to Greece and Turkey with lots of sunshine here throughout the day. Mainly fair for Bulgaria and much of Romania, but there is the chance of some showers or rain in the far northwest of Romania.
Showers are likely in the Baltic States, some of them heavy. The chance of a heavy showers over Finland too and again these could be heavy. Some showers affecting the far south of Norway and Sweden as well as Denmark, although more northern and central areas should be drier and brighter with some sunny spells coming through here.
