Today
A drier, sunnier day to come across England and Wales but it's very unsettled across much of Europe. Plenty of heavy showers are expected with a risk of thunderstorms are expected across northern and central parts of France, Germany, the Low Countries, Denmark, the Netherlands and western parts of Poland.
Some sunshine likely too in between the showers. Drier and sunnier across eastern parts of Poland with heavy showers developing across the Baltic States, Belarus, the Ukraine and Russia and again these heavy and thundery in nature. Some rain to come in the far south of Norway and Sweden but for northern areas along with Finland it looks fine and dry with sunny spells. Very warm and sunny weather will prevail across Iberia into southern France, the Balearics into Italy, Greece and Turkey. For the former Czech Republic, Hungary and Bulgaria expect a day of sunshine and showers.

Wednesday sees heavy rain spilling in across the United Kingdom and into Belgium. Much warmer today across France and here it's a dry, sunny day. Very warm again today across Portugal, Spain across the Balearics into Sardinia, Italy, the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey. Drier and sunnier across Germany today with scattered showers for the Alpine Region.
Plenty of heavy, thundery showers though for Poland, Belarus, the Baltic States, the Ukraine and Russia today. Longer spells of rain may affect Finland with sunny spells and just a few showers for Sweden and Norway. Look for a number of sharp showers too for Holland and Denmark. Lots of fine, warm and sunny weather is expected across the former Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria. .
