Fine, summery weather across much of Europe, but some rain in the far northwest
Wednesday
A dry and fine day to come over all parts of Spain and Portugal. Lots of sunshine and it will be feeling very warm too. The sunshine extends through most of France, although some thundery showers are likely to be affecting the far northwest. For the Low Countries high pressure is going to be bringing fine weather through out the day and this fine weather extends to Germany. However, some cloud and drizzle will be affecting the far north of Germany and parts of Poland.
Austria and Hungary look set to stay dry throughout the day with sunny spells. A fine start in Switzerland, but it probably won't be long before showers develop here, and these could turn heavy at times.
For the far north of Italy there will be some showers as well, but for the vast majority of the country the day should be dry with lots of sunshine throughout. More sunshine and dry weather over Greece and Turkey, and possibly turning hot here. Dry too for Bulgaria and Romania with more sunny spells.
A fair day to come in the Baltic States and Finland with sunny spells, and dry over Sweden. A few showers may affect the mountains of Norway, but most of the country should be dry. Much of Denmark will be dry too with sunshine here throughout.
Thursday
Another fine day for the whole of Spain and Portugal with plenty of sunshine for all. Conditions will become more unsettled over France, where rain will be in the north and west, and this could be heavy at times. More southern and eastern areas should be dry. Some hefty periods of rain coming through the Low Countries whilst Germany should stay fine and sunny throughout the day. More sunshine to come in Poland where the weather should be dry again throughout.
A few showers for Austria and Hungary with some thunderstorms breaking out in the Alps.
For Italy the day is going to be fine again. Plenty of sunshine in all places and feeling very warm. A hot day to come across Greece and Turkey with lots of sunshine here throughout. The sunshine extends to Bulgaria and Romania.
To the north the Baltic States should stay fine and sunny, with the fine weather spreading throughout southern Sweden, Denmark and Norway. The north of Sweden and Norway will be cloudier with some outbreaks of rain.
