Heavy snow for eastern Europe, cold everywhere

Wednesday
High pressure brings a dry day through much of Spain and Portugal, although there will be cloud and a few outbreaks of drizzle in the far northeast. For France the day is going to be cold with variable cloud and some wintry showers in the northeast. Wintry showers through the Low Countries and Germany, these heavy and prolonged through Germany and into Poland. Here there could be a significant snow storm with strong winds. Further snow showers across Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
Italy sees a cold day with showery rain moving south and turnig to sleet. Brighter weather follows to the north later. Through Greece the day will be cloud and damp with periods of rain, whilst more cloud and rain moves into Turkey. For Bulgaria and Romania there will be cloud and snow, some of that heavy at times.
Sleet and snow through the Baltic States. Dry weather and very cold across Finland and much of Sweden. Cloud and snow over the far southeast of Sweden. A few snow showers in Denmark and northern Norway, but the rest of Norway should be dry with sunny spells.

Thursday
Another fair day through most of Portugal and Spain. There will be showers or rain affecting the northeast of Spain and the baltic States and it will be cold here as well. Some showers still affecting eastern France, whilst the west will be dry wituh sunshine. Wintry showers across the Low Countries and Germany, some of them heavy. A cold day with snow only slowly clearing from Poland. Snow showers continuing to affect much of Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
Northern Italy may have a few wintry showers, but for mcuh of central and soutuhern Italy the day should be dry with sunny spells. Cloud and some rain passing through Crete and western Turkey, whilst much of Greece should be dry with sunny spells. Eastern parts of Turkey should be dry with sunny spells here. More snow and strong winds through Bulgaria and Romania with blizzard conditions here.
Some snow across the Baltic States whilst Finland stays dry and cold. More cluod and some snow over the southeast of Sweden but dry elsewhere. A few snow showers in Denmark but most of Norway should be dry and cold.
