Unsettled weather through eastern Europe, and fair in the southwest

Monday
A dry day to come over Spain and Portugal. Sunny spells here throughout the day, although always a tendency for more cloud i the east. Dry too over most of France, whilst over the north there could be cloud, with the chance of a few spots of drizzle in the northeast of the country. Rather cloudy over the Low Countries and Germany with some showery outbreaks of rain here. Poland should enjoy a fine day with sunny spells, the best of them in the east. Across Hungary and Austria the day is likely to be dry with sunny spells, and these conditions extending to Switzerland too.
For Italy the day should start dry, but showers are likely to be developing and these may well become heavy at times. Heavy showers sweeping southwards through Greece and into Crete. There will be further spells of showers and rain over Turkey, these turning increasing wintry through northern and western areas. A few snow showers in Bulgaria and Romania, but drier and brighter to the west.
To the north high pressure will be through the Baltic States bringing cold conditions with sunny spells. Chilly too over Finland with some sunny spells. More dry weather over Sweden, cold too here with sunny periods. Cloud and wintry precipitation in Denmark and southwest Norway.

Tuesday
Another fair day to come through Spain and Portugal with some sunny spells, the best of them in the west. Dry in the south of France with sunshine here, but cloudier weather over the north with cloud and drizzly rain. More cloud and heavier periods of rain, possibly turning sleety through the Low Countries and northern and western Germany. Eastern Germany and Poland will be brighter with sunny spells and should be dry. Cloud and some sleet and snow over Austria and Hungary, whilst Switzerland should be dry with more sunshine here.
For Italy there will be a few showers, some of them heavy. In between the showers sunny spells are likely. Greece will be having a few showers and these could be heavy. A drier and colder day in Turkey, some cloud and sleet in the north. Bulgaria and Romania should both be dry with some sunny spells.
A cold day to come through the baltic States with some sunny spells and a stiff northeast wind. More cold and dry weather in Finland and Sweden, perhaps bitterly cold here. Thicker cloud over the far west of Norway, some patchy rain here.
