Today
Cold but not quite so cold as previous days across eastern parts of Europe. Further outbreaks of snow, heavy at times will fall from the Baltic States into Poland, the eastern and southern parts of Germany and across Austria and Switzerland. Mainly dry and bright for the United Kingdom across into the Low Counties, Holland and Denmark. Apart from a few wintry showers across the north of Norway and Sweden, much of Scandinavia should be cold but dry and bright with sunny spells. Another fine dry day across Spain and the Balearics. Heavy showers and scattered thunderstorms will affect Corsica, Sardinia, Greece and Turkey today. A few showers are forecast for northern Italy but mainly dry in the south. Rain is forecast across the former Yugoslavia but mainly dry across Hungary and Bulgaria along with the Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.
Expect top temperatures of 10C in London, 7C for Brussels, 9C for Paris, 17C for Madrid, 11C in Rome, 3C in Bucharest, 9C in Athens, 1C in Warsaw, 4C in Berlin, -10C in Moscow and 0C for Stockholm.

The mild weather continues across western parts of Europe into the United Kingdom. A dry day to come across England and much of France. Some lightish rain will move into Belgium, Holland and Denmark in the afternoon after a dry, bright morning. Dry across northern and central parts of Germany but snow is likely in the south and across Poland and the Alpine Region. A sunny and dry day to come across Iberia into the Balearics. Mostly dry and bright across Italy with lots of sunshine today across Greece. Fine too for western Turkey while heavy, showery rain affects the east. Light rain is forecast across the former Yugoslavia. Outbreaks of rain will move into western parts of Norway, fair and dry in the east. Mostly a dry day as well across Sweden while an area of light snow moves across Finland into the Baltic States and western parts of Russia. Mostly cloudy but mainly dry today across Belarus, Poland and the Ukraine. Dry as well across Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania.
