Lots of dry weather

Today
The mild weather continues across the United Kingdom and western parts of Europe. Largely dry but with some sunshine across the United Kingdom. Mostly cloudy across the Low Countries, Holland, Germany and Denmark with some patchy light rain. This may be mixed with sleet across Denmark but clears from Belgium in the morning. Sporadic outbreaks of mainly light snow will continue today from Finland into western Russia, the Baltic States into Belarus, Poland and the Ukraine. Some rain to come for western Norway but in the east and across Sweden it should be dry with sunny spells. A lot of fine, sunny and pleasantly warm weather to come across France into the Balearics with temperatures reaching 21C in the south west of France. Some heavy showers with a risk of thunder will push into Portugal and Spain. An area of fine, pleasant weather will extend from Italy into the former Yugoslavia, and Greece while a few showers are possible across Turkey.
Expect top temperatures of 12C in London, 8C for Brussels, 15C for Paris, 17C for Madrid, 16C in Rome, 6C in Bucharest, 13C in Athens, 3C in Warsaw, 6C in Berlin, -2C in Moscow and -3C for Stockholm.

Sunday
Lots of heavy showers and rain is expected across Portugal and Spain today and some will develop in the far south of France. It remains fine across the Balearics with an area of showers across Corsica and Sardinia moves into Italy late in the day. It remains fine, sunny and dry across Greece into Turkey, the former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Hungary as high pressure dominates the region. A fine, dry day too across the United Kingdom into northern and central France across into Belgium and Germany. Some light rain will affect Holland and Denmark with heavy rain into Norway. For Sweden, Finland, the Baltic States, Poland and Belarus it will be fair and dry with sunny spells while showers of sleet and snow affect parts of Russia and the Ukraine.
