Mild across western Europe
Today
The mild weather continues across western parts of Europe into the United Kingdom. A dry day to come across England and much of France. Some lightish rain will move into Belgium, Holland and Denmark in the afternoon after a dry, bright morning. Dry across northern and central parts of Germany but snow is likely in the south and across Poland and the Alpine Region. A sunny and dry day to come across Iberia into the Balearics. Mostly dry and bright across Italy with lots of sunshine today across Greece. Fine too for western Turkey while heavy, showery rain affects the east. Light rain is forecast across the former Yugoslavia. Outbreaks of rain will move into western parts of Norway, fair and dry in the east. Mostly a dry day as well across Sweden while an area of light snow moves across Finland into the Baltic States and western parts of Russia. Mostly cloudy but mainly dry today across Belarus, Poland and the Ukraine. Dry as well across Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania.
Expect top temperatures of 12C in London, 8C for Brussels, 9C for Paris, 19C for Madrid, 11C in Rome, 4C in Bucharest, 11C in Athens, 1C in Warsaw, 2C in Berlin, -7C in Moscow and 1C for Stockholm.

It will be a windy, unsettled day across the eastern Mediterranean. Outbreaks of rain and heavy, thundery showers are forecast from Sicily into southern Greece and southern Turkey. A dry day for northern Greece and northern Turkey. Mild and dry across the United Kingdom with light morning rain to clear from Belgium and Holland. Light rain lingers across Denmark and northern Germany with southern Germany fair and dry. Colder across Poland with light snow and sleet. Another mild dry day with lots of cloud across France. Portugal and Spain continues to have the best of the weather with a dry, sunny and pleasantly warm day to come. A much drier day today across Switzerland and Austria. Dry as well for Italy, Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania. Light snow will fall across western Russia, parts of the Baltic States into Belarus while it looks fine but cold across the Ukraine. Rain is likely across western parts of Norway with eastern Norway, Sweden and Finland mainly fair and dry.
