Today
Rain moves into northern parts of the United Kingdom during the day but dry for England and northern France with sunny spells. Outbreaks of rain are forecast across the rest of France into Germany with very patchy rain across Belgium, Holland and Denmark that should clear to brighter skies in the afternoon. A milder day for much of Europe today. An area of heavier rain is likely across Sweden and across Finland this may be mixed with some sleet and snow. Fine and dry across Norway with sunny periods. High pressure should give Poland, Belarus, The Baltic States and western Russia a fair dry day. Some light snow develops over the Alpine Region. Continued unsettled across Portugal and Spain with outbreaks of rain and scattered thundery showers while it remains dry and sunny across the Balearics. More cloud across Italy today with showers. Unsettled as well across the former Yugoslavia into Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria and Hungary with showers and longer spells of rain.
Expect top temperatures of 11C in London, 9C for Brussels, 11C for Paris, 14C for Madrid, 16C in Rome, 4C in Bucharest, 16C in Athens, 4C in Warsaw, 9C in Berlin, -1C in Moscow and 2C for Stockholm.

Heavy rain and gusty winds will push into the United Kingdom today with gales into the channel. Some light rain will affect Belgium, Holland and Denmark with anther area across Finland, The Baltic States and Poland. It remains dry and on the mild side across France and Germany with sunnier spells. More heavy showers and rain will affect Iberia with showers around the Balearics. Showers too will affect the northern half of Italy with the south fine and dry. Lots of showers will continue across the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey. For Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania it's largely a dry day, maybe with the odd shower. Lots of dry weather today for Norway and Sweden.
