Wet, cold and unsettled in much of western Europe, but milder to the east
Wednesday
A cold and unsettled day across Spain with strong winds and periods of rain and showers. Further cloud and rain over France, most of it to the north and west, feeling cold here too. More cloud and outbreaks of showery rain will be across the Low Countries, whilst Germany remains mainly dry and fairly mild. A mild day to come through Poland with south to southeast winds bringing some sunny spells here. Dry for Austria, Hungary and Switzerland and feeling mild here as well with further spells of sunshine.
An unsettled and cloudy day through Italy with periods of rain becoming more persistent in the west. A dry day for most of Greece, although there chance of some drizzle in the far west. Through Turkey the day should be dry with sunny spells, whilst Bulgaria and Romania has cloud and a few outbreaks of drizzle here and there.
To the north there will be cold conditions through the Baltic States with cloud and some wintry precipitation. mainly dry over Finland with sunny spells and cold conditions here. Fairly mild over Sweden with cloud and drizzle to the south. More cloud and wind over Denmark with some drizzle later. Norway has a breezy day with some cloud in the north and west and a few outbreaks of rain and drizzle here.
Thursday
A cold and windy day with a band of cloud affecting the far south of Iberia. Heavy showers over the north of Spain and Portugal and windy here as well. Heavy showers through France, these widespread at times and feeling cold here as well. Colder weather and fairly cloudy over the Low Countries whilst Germany has cloud, drizzle and rain. A murky day over Poland with rain and drizzle, this affecting much of Austria, Hungary and Switzerland too.
Cloud and rain over Italy with some heavy bursts in northern Italy. More cloud and some periods of rain over Greece, with some cloud and periods of rain to come through Turkey. Further spells of rain spreading north to Bulgaria and Romania, strong winds here too.
Wind and drizzle as well as lots of mist through the Baltic States. A dry day with sunny spells through Finland and cold here as well. Cloud and drizzle as well as breezy weather through the southern half of Sweden, Denmark and Norway, whilst the north should be dry with some sunshine.
