Today
Rain clears England leaving a mainly dry brighter day. A wet day though across central and northern parts of France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and much of Germany. Some snow is expected across Bavaria and across Switzerland and Austria and here it will be heavy. In the afternoon the rain clears to showers across northern France, Belgium and Denmark. Fair and dry today in the south of France. High pressure will give Portugal, Spain the Balearics and Italy a fine, sunny day. This fine weather also stretches east across the former Yugoslavia into Greece. More unsettled with heavy spells of rain across Turkey and Hungary. Largely dry day across Norway and Sweden while light snow fall across Finland, The Baltic States and western Russia. Just a few rain showers today across Poland.
Expect top temperatures of 11C in London, 9C for Brussels, 11C for Paris, 21C for Madrid, 14C in Rome, 6C in Bucharest, 16C in Athens, 6C in Warsaw, 7C in Berlin, 1 in Moscow and 1C for Stockholm.

Overcast and misty across the United Kingdom today with patchy drizzle in places. Apart from some drizzle in the far north of France, it's a dry day with sunny spells. It remains fine and dry with good sunny spells as well across Iberia into the Balearics. Fair and dry toady across the Low Counties, Holland and Denmark. Some light rain persist across Germany with snow in the far south. More snow to also fall across the Alpine Region today and once again some heavy falls are expected. Patchy rain and showers will affect Poland Light snow will affect the far south of Sweden but in the north and across much of Finland and Norway it's a dry day. Mainly dry today across the Baltic Region, Belarus and the Ukraine with some light snow across Russia. Some heavy showers will affect Italy with an area of heavy rain across the former Yugoslavia and Greece. A better day for Turkey and Hungary with all parts dry and mostly sunny.
