Today
Warm weather prevails across much of Europe today. An area of light rain clears eastern England this afternoon otherwise fair and dry. Just a few scattered showers to come today across the Low Countries, Holland, Germany and France with some decent spells of warm sunshine. A few showers across southern Germany may be on the heavy side. Warm with sunny spells and mainly dry across Portugal and Spain and across into the Balearics. Lots of showers will develop across Italy, the Alpine Region and the former Yugoslavia with a risk of thunder. A fine day to come across Greece, Turkey, Hungary and Bulgaria. Some early light rain across Finland should clear. Another warm, sunny day to come across Poland and Belarus. Cooler across Russia and the Ukraine but dry and sunny. A mild, dry and mostly sunny day across Norway and Sweden with light ain moving across Finland.

With high pressure in charge, there will be plenty of fine, warm weather cross much of Europe today. Lots of sunshine will be found across the United Kingdom, Belgium, Holland into Denmark and Germany though across the far south of Germany a number of showers will be brewing. A few scattered, mainly light showers will also develop across Poland but lots of warm sunshine is also expected. Much of Iberia will again be fine and sunny but a few scattered showers will affect parts of central Spain. Fine and sunny into the Balearics while lots of showers again pop up across Sardinia, Corsica and across into Italy and the Alpine Region. These will be heavy with a risk of scattered thunderstorms. Across the former Yugoslavia into Greece and Turkey expect lots of sunshine and it will be dry. This also extends up into Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania. More unsettled with spells of rain for Norway and Sweden today while it's Finland's turn to be dry. Another dry day across the Baltic States into Russia.
