Showers persist across Italy
Today
Heavy rain is going to affect England and windy here with coastal gales. Rain too moves into north west Spain in the afternoon. Much of France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and Germany with lots of fine, spring sunshine on offer. Mainly fine and sunny across Norway and Sweden today. An area of rain across Finland will extend south across the Baltic Sates, northern Belarus into Poland. More showers are forecast for Italy with heavy, thundery rain to affect Sardinia and Corsica. Fine, sunny weather will affect the rest of Spain and the Balearics. Scattered showers will develop across the former Yugoslavia with high pressure keeping Greece, Turkey, Hungary and Bulgaria fine and dry. Expect a few scattered showers across Romania and over the Alpine Region.

A warm day especially across Germany and the Low Counties today with highs in the 20s. An area of moderate to heavy rain will stretch from England into western France down into Spain. Just a few showers for eastern France, western Germany, Belgium and Holland. Sunny and dry weather will prevail across Denmark into eastern Germany into Poland with sunny, warm weather. Much of Scandinavia also looks settled with sunny spells though some rain is possible in the north of Finland with scattered showers across the Baltic States and Belarus. Heavier showers are likely across Hungary and Bulgaria. Fine and sunny today across the Balearics but lots of showers will again develop across Italy into the former Yugoslavia. A sunny and dry day to come across all of Greece and Turkey.
