Low pressure brings disturbed weather to the Mediterranean
Easter Monday
A fair day to come across central and eastern parts of Spain, some good spells of sunshine here. Increased cloud and some outbreaks of rain will be affecting Portugal and northwestern Spain. Through France there will be cloud in the north and west, but for more southern and eastern areas it should stay dry with some sunshine. A fine day to come over the Low Countries and Germany, with some patchy cloud in Poland. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland will all be dry with sunny spells too.
A deep area of low pressure brings rain to much of central and southern Italy. This rain could be heavy at times. For Greece there will be some cloud and periods of rain too, whilst Turkey and Cyprus are both dry, warm and sunny. There will be dry weather through Romania and Bulgaria although it will be feeling chilly here.
The Baltic States will have a fine day with some sunshine, and it should be fair for most of Finland, apart from a few showers and some thicker cloud to the west. Cloud affects northern Sweden whilst the south is going to be dry and sunny. Some sunshine to through Denmark and the south of Norway, but northern Norway should be dry with some sunshine here.
Tuesday
A weak cold front passes through Spain bringing showery bursts of rain. Eastern Spain should be fair with sunny spells and most of Portugal should be fair too with some more sunshine to come here. Cloud and some patchy rain could affect the west of France, whilst the rest of France is going to be fine with some sunshine. Sunny spells and dry over the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland. A few showers to come for Hungary,l but Austria should be dry with sunny spells. Staying dry through Switzerland too.
Italy will be dry to the north but some showers through central areas. These may fall as longer spells of rain to the south. For Greece and Crete the day will be mixed with some cloud and heavy showers in the west, the showers more scattered in the east. Across Turkey there will be heavy showers too, especially in the north, but Cyprus should be dry with sunshine. Bulgaria and Romania should be staying dry through the day.
Another fine day over the Baltic States but some cloud and a few showers for Finland. Sweden should be largely fair with some sunshine, apart from cloud through central areas. Fair over Denmark with more sunshine here and a fair day to come for Norway.
