Still looking unsettled for much of Europe

Tuesday
An unsettled day through Spain with the threat of some heavy showers in all but the far east. There will be further heavy showers across Portugal too, some of them thundery. For western France expect more cloud and some spots of rain, whilst central and eastern areas have showers, some of them heavy at times. Showers too for the Low Countries and parts of Germany, especially the south. More northern and eastern parts of Germany, as well as Poland, should remain fine with good spells of sunshine. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland will have some sunny spell with heavy showers forming here too.
For Italy there is a risk of some showers, a few of them heavy, these extending down the central spine of the country. Thicker cloud and some periods of rain affect the far south and extend across Greece and into Turkey too. Cloud and some periods of showery rain also affect Bulgaria and Romania.
To the north the baltic States and Finland are going to be dry with sunny spells, whilst Sweden and Denmark remain dry too.

Wednesday
Low pressure in the Bay of Biscay will be bringing some heavy showers or longer spells of rain through northern Spain today. To the south there will be showers but these are going to be more scattered. The showers could extend into the Balearics too, a few of them being heavy at times. For France there will be some heavy periods of rain in the west of the country, but to the east it should be mainly dry, although even here a few showers cannot be ruled out.
For the Low Countries and Germany there is the risk of a shower developing, and these could be heavy at times. A mainly fair day to come for Austria and Hungary, with the sunny spells extending into Switzerland, although an odd shower could break out in the afternoon.
Italy should have a fine day with sunshine here as well, and this sunshine affecting much of Greece too. Showers break out across Turkey and some of these will be heavy at times. The showers also affecting Bulgaria and Romania, but tending to become well scattered.
For The Baltic States and Finland conditions will be dry and sunny, with fine weather too across Sweden although a bit breezy here. Breezy too for Denmark and Norway with sunny spells for most.
